Unsolved Murder of Officer Mike Edwards May 10, 1974.

The Murder of Officer Mike Edwards and the search for his killers after 40 years

A brisk evening of May 10, 1974 as the recruits break from a Police Academy gathering. A young Police Cadet traveling towards Long Beach to see a girl that he had met up with after his divorce. On his way he sees a female being carried by two African men, as though she was passed out. he stopped to offer a hand though the scene must have been much more sinister. Before he realized they were not good Sumatrans walking down the middle of the street, two others appeared and he was shot. They then loaded him up in his car and drove to abandon building, along with the damsel he was attempting to help. Very few witness came forward and many statements were believed to be false.

It was later discovered that the Female was reported missing by er friends at local hang out not far from were Mike Edwards had stopped to help, and because they were in the middle of the street leaving him no place to go.

The Investigation reviled very few details even today. He was last seen around 10:30p.m., May 10, 1974. His Charred body was discovered by two teens children playing 1034 West 186th Street in Los Angeles . His Gold Pinto was found 10 miles away, a witness reported that two African males were seen parking and exiting the vehicle.

The phenomenon is why they have not been able to piece together what happen and who was the group of men and teens walking down the middle of the street with a body.
The medical examiners report shows that apparently two of the individuals in the group shot Mike Edwards form both sides of his body.

Missing Army Veteran Results into Murder Investigation ST. LOUIS, MO

On Thursday October 15th of 2015, the body of missing veteran Robert Lovings Polk was found under some drywall with a bullet wound on the 8000 block Fredrick during the morning hours. Asbestos workers discovered his body after a foul stench got their attention. The St Louis Police Department verified the body was that of Robert Lovings Polk a United States Army Veteran, that was reported missing as of October 3rd of 2015. Robert had told folks that he was going to Newstead avenue, to look at a Mustang that was listed on Craigslist list. On October 5th of 2015 Robert was reported missing as he had not been seen or heard from since he left around 7:00pm to look at the Mustang he found on Craigslist.

Robert Lovings Polk was born on May 18th of 1993, he was 22 years old when he went missing he has medium build, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighed 167lbs. He was last seen wearing a black skull cap, a black hooded sweatshirt and black jogging pants.
witnesses reported seeing the Hood of the sweater pulled over his face and his sweat pants where pulled down from what appeared as being dragged.

Trio of deaths Friday Oct 9th

Friday October 9, 2015, did not end nicely for many surrounding three deaths, in Riverside County. Two murders and suicide by police.

     Starting off Friday morning at 6:20am when the Riverside County Sheriff Hemet Station received a call pertaining to a female with a gun threatening residence. When deputies arrived their investigation lead them to  Jacob Court about 10:00am in Aguanga community. The same female still had the gun, and when officers gave orders to drop the weapon, she had begun pointing it at them. After an officer involved shooting occurred, the woman ran into the house. Several attempts to convince the subject to surrender,  were exhausted before the SWAT team was called in. They eventually entered the house and found the subject deceased.

     Less than Twelve hours later in Menifee about 6:07pm, Amanda Harwood a 35 year old resident of Big Bear, had shot and killed 39 year old Joseph Hennings of Murrieta. She was arrested and is being held on Million dollar bail.

     Jurupa Valley is investigating a homicide that took place at 11:10pm on Friday October 9, 2015.
Deputies of the Jurupa Valley Station, were called the 5300 block of Odell Street. Deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station were dispatched to a shooting in the roadway of 5300 block of Odell Street in Jurupa Valley. Deputies rendered first aid prior to the victim being transported to the Hospital were the victim succumbed to injuries

March 09, 2015, at 2149 Mountain View Drive in Escondido, Ca Police, was summoned to a report of a violent crime. Arriving officers had to force entry into the residence were and 83 year old, elderly female was found deceased with blunt force trauma. Technicians later determined that her injuries were caused by blunt trauma. The Victim adoptive son 46 years old Joseph Andrew Stuber, was suspected of the crime, through neighbors that reported seeing him leaving the scene, driving very fast, in his 2007 Toyota Tacoma CA license plate 8J70011, at 9:30 p.m.

March 10, 2015 at 7:25 Escondido detectives, located Joseph Stuber’s silver 2007 Tacoma truck at Stratford Court in Del Mar. After searching the vehicle it was found to have a head covered body inside, which was later identified by technicians as the suspect 46 years old Joseph Andrew Stuber of Escondido 2149 Mountain View Drive in Escondido, Ca.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending the notification of the next of kin. It is believed that Shirley G. Stuber is also a resident of the house were the crime occured

Joseph Andrew Stuber born 7/26/1968 46 years was released from prison in 2007 after serving 16 years for two 1996 sex crimes involving two children under 14 years old
