Todd Hodge of Hemet, CA Identified as Suspect in the killing of San Jacinto K-9 Sultan during standoff on January 21, 2015 in San Jacinto


January 21, 2015, Hemet Sheriff station Deputies responded to call of a felon in area near Clark drive and San Jacinto Street at 2:30 p.m. When Deputies arrived they were directed to 40200 Block of Clark Drive in regards to teh subject being under the house at that location. San Jacinto Police k-9 Handler and his K-9 Sultan responded, unleashing teh Sultan to the crawl space under the house where Felon Todd Hodge was found. Todd Hodge had then Shot Sultan in the neck area. Sultan retreated and was taken to the area Vet where, the Police k-9 did sucummed to his injuires.
A lengthy stand off endured, for hours while Officers tried Negotiating the Subject Todd Hodge out from under the house and into custody. later the in the evening S.W.A.T.T. fired tear gas and flash grenades causing the subject to exit the crawl space from under the house. When the subject appeared he was carrying a handgun, leading officer to fire. The Subject later identifed as Todd Hodge succummed to his injuires and was decleared dead at the scene.

Police K-9 Sultran was a 3 year service vet of San Jacinto Deputy Mark Wallace in November 2013




A candlelight Vigil For Sultan is being held Saturday January 24, 2015 at the Gibbel park between 3:00p.m. and 6:00p.m.

January 18 Fatal collision claims life of 10-year-old girl's mom.


Sunday, January 18, 2015 approximately 4:05 am, 32-year-old Miguel Delacruz, of Corona and passenger Sandra Medel were traveling east in a 2002 Honda on the 91 free when their vehicle stalled at the Green River Road exit. Adrian Maude 32 years old of Menifee, was driving a 2002 GMC that failed to stop or change lanes rear ending the Delacruz’s 2002 Honda. The Honda burst into flames upon impact. Rescue workers were able to extradite Miguel Delacruz, was, taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Sandra Medel succumbed to her injuries; she leaves behind a 10-year-old daughter who lost her biological father some years ago, to a auto accident. Sandra's daughter still asks why mommy has not called and where she is.

The family asks that you keep her daughter in prayers, they are not certain if her stepfather will survive.

Adrian Maude 32 years old of Menifee CA was under the influence at the time he drove his 2002 GMC into the rear of Miguel and Sandra's 2002 Honda.
There were several reports complaining about his driving that day
The family is trying to raise money for funeral expenses

Five and Unborn Killed in Car vs Tractor Trailer Collision in Queen Anne's County, Maryland.


Saturday January 10, 2015 at 1:35, in Queen Anne's County, Maryland, A Knight Transportation Driver Yvenet, Mayette, 28 years old of Delaware, T-boned a 2006 Suzuki Forenza that was traveling West on Interstate 50, from Southbound travel, on Route 213 at the Route 50 Intersection. One of the two drivers ran a red light, and though not determined whom yet.
The driver and occupants of the 2006 Suzuki Forenza, Succumbed to their injuries, along with an unborn carried by 30-year-old Zarissa Ayres, both of whom died at the hospital. The Family Regina Ayres, and Travis Straton, both 24 years old, were traveling with Regina’s sister Zarissa Ayres, 7 year old Jordan Ayres, and 2 month old Jonathan Ayres. They traveling to a baby shower for the unborn child of Zarissa Ayres.
Knight Transportation driver Yvenet Mayette, was flown by the Maryland State Police Helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he is being treated for his injuries.


Alcohol was not a factor in the deadly crash.
